Hi,

Does anyone know how to make a pinhole camera?
loonymoon
There was an article in the last Digital camera magazine about turning a DSLR into a pinhole camera by drilling a hole in a body cap, attaching a small piece of plastic or paper to the body cap into which a pin hole had been made, and using that to create a pin hole DSLR!!

I was thinking of making one from scratch.

This might be a silly question as I don't reallly understand, but what's the point in doing that? If the camera can take pictures already and take film I mean.

Also, if you go through google and type "DIY Pin Hole Camera" you will get lots of results.

Have to admit I wondered that as well - what is the point. I'd never do that to my camera! My FZ has a "pinhole" effect setting if I was really bothered!

Making one from scratch would be far more fun!

I'm just pleased to sse that people know what a pinhole camera is! Only the more experienced photographers understood the first viral film that Focus on Imaging created to promote this year's event (all on their website)
