Been a little while since I posted anything so I went for a wander on my lunchbreak today and rattled off a few new snaps:







Not sure if I love or hate the duck splash yet.

I like the shot of the gulls although it's a pity the wing tip on the higher gull is just out of the frame.

Yeah i was gutted about that wing being just out of frame but hey - something to concentrate on next time eh!?

That's actually one of the reasons I do like it! It's just so abstract and chaotic.

I like the first one. Don't know why but it took me a while to get, but its got a great abstract quality to it.

I do like the Seagulls. I have yet to progress to these shots myself yet... theyre so fast! hehe

Well done. Birds in flight are so difficult to capture. First you have to get the frame just about right to maximise number of pixels on the bird, then worry about the angle, focus and panning... It does help if your AF can dynamically follow targets across the viewfinder though
